麵家汤,位于古晋浮罗岸路,是一家以特色古早味干捞面与猪杂汤而闻名。
旧称为“民裕”, 在1957年开始营业,是在马来西亚成立前便已开始营业,至今已有61年的历史。
“麵家汤”这名字源自于其招牌菜——面+汤的组合,再加上是一家人一起经营的,而加与家同音,因此便将新店面取名为麵家汤。 老板自接手生意以来,从未改变父亲所传授的烫面技巧和汤料的秘诀,以确保顾客可以品尝到好吃又不失古早味的面与汤。
在麵家汤,有一个特别的文化情况。由于位子有限,许多顾客都会排队等待安排座位。当顾客入座后,只需要等待店家摆放筷子,当筷子被摆放时也意味着顾客可以开始点餐。
Noodle Descendants, now located at Padungan, Kolo Mee and Mix Pork Soup are people's flavour. ‘Min Joo’ is their previous name, their business started since 1957, which start before Malaysia established, until now it have been 61 years.
“MIEN JIA TANG” is the name of Noodle Descendants in Chinese pronunciation, which meant noodle plus soup. Because, noodle with the mix pork soup is their signature dish. The word “PLUS” and “HOME” are similar in Chinese pronunciation as “JIA”, so they write “JIA” as Chinese character “HOME”.
This business been pass down till 3rd generation, to make sure customer could enjoy the ‘OLD TIME’ taste, they been maintaining their cooking method which inherit from the elders.
There's is a culture that when every customer comes, are expected to have a long wait. Although the wait is long, they are still willing to spend time waiting. All visitors are came craving for it taste. Therefore, most of them are prepared to be in the long queue for their food.
面类通常都是醋面,顾客可要求捞酱油或是加“红”。猪杂汤是主要特色,汤的内脏被店家处理得没有异味,并且还加了少许紫菜和咸菜提味。
This combination of plain noodle with mix pork soup for locals called ‘Zheng’ or ‘Cheng’. Normally the noodles are cooked with vineger, but customer do have the options to choose “soy sauce” or “red”. The pork intestines of the mix pork soup have been welling disposal to make sure doesn't have any strange taste. Besides that, the soup had added some seaweed & chinese pickles to improve the saltiness and acidity to enhance the flavour of the soup.
